INTERACTIVE INSTALLATIONS / ART+COM / 2004
TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION / BMW 1 CLASS

In the run-up to the International Automobile Salon in Paris a series of publicity events was executed to promote the new BMW 1 Series. Addressing dealers and drivers, the tour went through 23 European countries.

ART+COM developed amongst other elements five interactive installations to communicate the technical aspects.

These included for example a haptic configurator for colours and materials, a Bluetooth station, at which visitors could download BMW logos, games and ring tones onto their Bluetooth-capable mobiles.

My part was co-development of the concepts, art direction of the screendesign and realisation of the screendesign for one application. The dynamic behaviour and programming was conceived and realised by computational designers and programmers.
